Donations FAQ

We are always accepting donations from the public! If you have gently used clothing, shoes, housewares, toys, books, athletic equipment…almost anything, please stop down to the Discovery Shop and drop them off at the big RED door. We’ll even help you unload – just ring the doorbell! Your donations are tax deductible. A tax deduction sheet will be provided when you drop off your items. ALL the money made at the Discovery Shop stays in our Community through our Community Impact Projects and Volunteer Training!

Donations are accepted during regular business hours:

Monday-Saturday: 10am to 5pm

Sunday:  Closed

Donation Guidelines

Spring/Summer donations accepted February 1st-August 31st

     -Women's summer clothes


     -Light jackets

Fall/Winter donations accepted October 1st-December 1st

     -Women's winter coats

     -All coats/sweatshirts/outerwear

     -All boots

Christmas decor donations accepted October 1st-December 1st

Year Round Donations

Housewears          Furniture

Men's clothes        Holiday decor (except Christmas)

Kid's clothes          Electronics* (see exceptions below)

Toys                        Purses

*All electronics MUST work and will be tested prior to accepting.  Non-working electronics will be refused.
